Help us honor the legacy of the late Professor Elisabeth Sadoulet (Betty) by establishing a named fund at the Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE).

The new fund will carry forward Betty’s deep commitment to ARE graduate students by competitively supporting fieldwork in developing countries, enabling students to define and launch research projects for their doctoral dissertations in development economics.

To formally establish the fund, we need to raise $25,000. Thanks to an anonymous gift of $5,000, we are already part of the way there, and we are now seeking gifts to help us reach the remaining $20,000.
